John O’Donohue writes, “…there are secret worlds hidden within the simplest, clearest things.…There is a moreness to everything that can never be exhausted” (Beauty: The Invisible Embrace, p. 145).
As I observed bachelor buttons framed by the lens, and subject to a shallow depth of field, I sensed exuberance and fluidity even though they were stationary. These “simplest, clearest things” reveal something of their secret world when viewed this way. A moreness that I was, and still am, able to celebrate.
